This lot comes from producer Deysi Manayay Tocto in the mountains of Cajamarca, Peru. She is a member of PAWQARA, a women-led cooperative formed in 2022 by friends, neighbors, and family determined to earn better compensation through quality driven, fully traceable microlots.

Frustrated by seeing carefully produced single-variety coffees disappear into anonymous regional blends, PAWQARA set out to do things differently, focusing on distinct profiles, sustainability, and transparency. In just a few harvests, the group has grown rapidly and is nearing its goal of exporting three full containers of high-quality lots per season.

This coffee reflects that mission: thoughtful production, clear identity, and dependable sweetness in the cup.
