Luis âWichoâ ValdĂ©s III is a third-generation producer behind Finca Santa Isabel and Finca San Lorenzo in the CobĂĄn region of Guatemala. Farming in CobĂĄnâs cool, rainy cloud forest at 1400â1500 meters, Wicho grows and processes some of the regionâs most sought-after coffees, using multiple drying methods to adapt to the climate.
Today, the farms employ hundreds of local workers and focus on quality, sustainability, and forest preservation. In the cup, expect chocolate, marshmallow sweetness, and bright red fruit.
